TERMS AND CONDITIONS

AIR TRANSPORTATION:

DOMESTIC: Cancellation of any domestic airfare tickets within Egypt and Jordan after purchase is subject to a forfeiture of 30% of the fare.

INTERNATIONAL: Cancellation of the International airfare between any countries we tour after purchase – if booked through Eldowy Tours is subject to a forfeiture of 30%.

COSTS: In the event of unavoidable increases imposed by airlines, hotels, ground operators or governments of country visited, the tour fare of these trips will be adjusted and all passengers will be billed accordingly.

RATES: All rates are in US dollars and are based on double occupancy. All rates are subject to change without prior notice.

 RESERVATIONS: A deposit of $500 US per person is required at the initial time of commitment to join the tour. This is a NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT and is over and above the cancellation penalties listed below. This does not include any deposits required by acting airlines to ensure group seating.

PAYMENT TERMS: 30 days following the initial payment a further deposit of $2500 US per person is due with subsequent payments due as scheduled with each tour. Full and final payment for each tour must be paid in full 90 days prior to departure. These payments must be made either by direct deposit or a Bank Draft in US dollars. Tour documents will be delivered to you once receiving final payments.

GROUP PAYMENT TERMS: A “group” constitutes a minimum of 10 persons. Once a group has been booked with a specific amount of persons, should any one person cancel or should any one person join after the total number of persons in that group has been assigned, a subsequent increase or decrease in the cost of the tour per person will be issued to the group body.

REQUESTED “EXCLUSIVE” GROUPS: In the case of requested “exclusive” groups – it will be the responsibility of the group to maintain the total number of persons originally registered should any one member(s) of the original group members cancel. ELDOWY TOURS can not guarantee available accommodations/ domestic airfares that match the rest of group or international flights between any of the countries that we tour for persons wanting to join the group 90 days prior to arrival.

 PASSPORT & VISAS: Most passengers visiting Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Israel require a valid Canadian passport for at least six months and a visa. If you are the holder of a passport other than Canadian it is your responsibility to contact the relevant Embassy of the country you are traveling to. Egyptian visas can be purchased at Cairo International for $15 US and our representative will assist you upon arrival. Jordanian Visas are waived if group is 10 or more persons. Otherwise they are $15 US. Restrictions apply with Israeli visas.

MIDDLE EAST VISITING REGULATIONS:

Should you be planning to visit a combination of countries i.e. Saudi, Egypt, Jordan, Syria and /or Israel a specific order of visiting is required because of Israeli law and regulations. Contact our office before planning combination visits.

HOTELS: Accommodations provided are based upon deluxe accommodations in Egypt and Jordan based on two guests sharing a twin bedded room unless specified differently. Special requests are subject to availability at the time of hotel registrations. Single supplements can be requested for an extra charge. Special meal requests must be made at the time of booking

DISCLAIMER OF RESPONSIBILITY: Eldowy Tours acts as an agent in making and securing all arrangements for transportation, sight seeing and accommodations for the tour concerned. All coupons, receipts, tickets or vouchers are subject to the terms and condition specified by the suppliers. By accepting the tickets and vouchers you agree ( and your parents or guardians if you are a minor ) that neither Eldowy Tours nor any of its representatives will be liable for any loss, injury or damage to you or your belongings or in connection with any accommodations, transportation or other services resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrences beyond its control including breakdown of equipment, strikes, theft, delay or cancellation of or changes or delay in the schedule of services, sickness, weather, strikes, war declared or undeclared, quarantine or other causes. All such losses shall be borne by the passenger(s). Any refund shall not exceed the amount paid by the passenger for land tour services only, excluding any airfares. Baggage is at owner’s risk at all times. Any transport or conveyance companies mentioned or provided shall have no responsibility or liability during the time passengers are Not on board the particular transport or conveyance. All accommodations, services and facilities are subject to the laws and customs of the country in which these accommodations, services or facilities are rendered. The entrance fees included in the sightseeing are those of the main gate. Any sub-entrance fees to certain rooms or tombs, for example to the Mummy Room at the Cairo Museum or the Tut Ankh Amon Tomb in the Valley of the Kings are not included in the sightseeing and could be paid locally. Please note that sightseeing is affected by many factors including weather, opening and closing times of the sites and travel time and traffic etc. In the unlikely even that the site might be closed a suitable visit to a different site may be substituted. Sailing the Nile on a cruise is a marvelous experience but can be affected by many factors, water level, waiting time at the Esna lock, and the number of boats sailing the Nile. The Esna Lock closes at certain times of the year for maintenance. On these sailing dates most cruises will sail for Aswan to Esna (the major part of the sailing time) the Luxor sightseeing will be operated by buses from Esna. Eldowy Tours reserves the right to make any necessary changes in the itinerary or service to substitute airlines or accommodations or to cancel any tour at its own discretion in which case the sole liability of Eldowy Tours toward the client shall be a refund of money paid.

 CANCELLATIONS: All cancellations must be made in writing.

Changes of departure date by passengers more than 90 days prior to the original departure and after a confirmation has been received on booking, shall incur a $350 charge.

Changes or cancellations made by passengers less than 155 days prior of departure will be subject to the following:

Less than 155 days $2000 US
124 days 50% of total tour cost
90 days 75% of total tour cost
60 days or less No refund

It is understood that by making a booking that you would have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
