We offer 5 star, specialized and fully escorted tours to Egypt based out of Calgary, Alberta Canada. Our tours are kept small (up to 25 persons) and intimate so that we can focus on your every need. Your tour begins the night you arrive in Cairo with one of our team representatives meeting you at Cairo International to assist your entrance into Egypt. He will assist you with luggage, customs and the purchase of your Egyptian Visa should you decide to purchase it here. You will then be greeted by Gwen – your experienced tour concierge during the tour and your Egyptologist guide who will escort you to your modern air-conditioned tour bus which is also equipped with a small mini fridge to keep snacks and drinks cold while touring.
Because we are able to set our own time frame (for the most part) we are able to allow you extra time at some of the sites. The tour packages are personalized, custom designed adventures with itineraries to create memories of a lifetime. HOTELS AND RESORTS :
The hotels and resorts we stay at offer a wide range of amenities and conveniences for your comfort. All breakfasts are included at your hotels and most of your lunches and dinners as well. Meals at all of the hotels feature a feast of buffet salads, fruits, entrees, breads and elegantly presented desserts. The cuisine throughout the tour at the hotels features a variety of ethnic and other internationally cultural dishes with a definite European flair. Our “outside meals” show you the Egyptian flavor and traditional style of cooking served with the gracious hospitality that the Egyptian people are known for. Your rooms will all have either a pyramid, Nile, ocean, or exotic garden pool view. WHY EGYPT:
Herodotus pretty much summed it up when he said:

Once you take the opportunity to visit this county it truly captivates you. You begin to wonder, to question, to try to explain and to just totally marvel at the overwhelming immenseness of this ancient civilization.
Egypt has in the past, and continues to this day to be a mystical place that has much to offer. In the past Ancient Egypt gave the impetus to the science that has become archeology. It was the first of the vanished civilizations to emerge from under the spades of the excavators – and it remains the most spectacular. The ancient blocks of stone that make up Egypt are a testament today to a faith and a knowledge that we still try to understand and explain. Of all of the ancient civilizations, no other presents so many mysteries or leaves open so many crucial questions. Certainly none other has generated such heated or such voluminous controversy.
DID YOU KNOW:
The average temperature of Egypt equals the average temperature of the earth which equals the average temperature of the Queen’s Chamber – 68’ F.
The average height of land above sea level for earth is 5449 inches. This is also the height of the pyramid.
The Great Pyramid is the most accurately aligned structure in existence and faces True North with only 3/60 of a degree of error. This is more accurately aligned than the observatory at Greenwich.
The Great Pyramid is located at the center of the land mass of the earth. The east/west parallel that crosses the most land and the north/south meridian that crosses the most land intersect in two places on earth, one in the ocean and the other at the Great Pyramid.
The mortar used in the building of the pyramids is of an unknown origin. It has been analyzed and it’s chemical composition is unknown. But it cant be reproduced. It is stronger than stone and still holding up today.
The 3 stars that make up the belt in the star constellation of Orion perfectly align with the 3 pyramids of the Giza Plateau.

She thoroughly enjoys being able to present the opportunity to any of those wishing to visit this magical and awe-inspiring country. Working with a large support team both in Canada and Egypt, Eldowy Tours is able to present a very competitive and personalized package.
Mohammed received his BA in Egyptology in 1980 and has participated in archeological expeditions with various groups from many areas of the world. As a Chief Inspector with the Egyptian Antiquities, Mohamed's vast knowledge of Pharonic and Dynastic Egyptian History provides an extremely informative and insightful tour. His license through the General Tourist Guides Syndicate of Egypt enables him to share his genuine love of his country with people from all over the world with enthusiasm and a high degree of professionalism.
